Copper Silver This is a high electrical conductivity copper with high softening temperatures compared to electrolytic copper. Silver content generally is 0.025 to 0.035 %. This copper is generally used in high speed rotating parts like traction motors, hand tools, mixers, etc. It can be supplied in strips, profiles, rods, wire and tube forms.

|
|
|
Copper DHP This copper is having lower electrical conductivity and is used where importance is heat transfer/conductance and not any electrical properties. This copper is generally used in heat exchangers and chemical plants. This copper can be supplied in forms of tubes, strips, rods and wire. |

Tellurium Copper Tellurium Copper has become the recognized material for use where high electrical conductivity must be combined with machinability. |
|
The
normal tellurium content of about 0.5% the properties of the alloy arevery similar to
those of pure copper, but the machinability is comparable with that of free cutting brass.
It is, however, more resistant to corrosion and has, therefore, successfully replaced
brass for machine parts and fittings in mines and similar corrosive environments.
Tellurium copper is specially suitable for the manufacture of electrical instruments and
equipments where accuracy of machined dimensions, good surface and freedom from burrs are
primary considerations. Data Sheet:
