Phosphor Bronze
 

This is an alloy of Copper and Tin to which is added a small quantity of Phosphorus. It is produced with tin percentage varying between 2 to 7.5%. It used where springness is required in components. It is also used  in manufacture of wire meshed and wire cloth. One of its important application is in rotary equipments as bushes.

It is manufactured in form of tubes,rods, wires and strips.
